Ok, heres the low down
I contacted optus and got much the same reply
I then contacted Fair trading who refered me to the telecommunications
Ombudsperson
I them contacted the Ombudsperson who told me they had every right to
not
disclose
this policy as people could then make attempt to circumvent the policy
to
gain and unfair
advantage regarding usage. This also related to the non disclosure of
download limits or
maxiimum periods online. They ten gave me the name of the person in
charge of
@home
and for customer relations. Unfortuately these people were unavailable
so I
would need
to call back again later, Thank you for your inquiry.
