Thanks for all the help on this.
I can now ping the outside world from the machines connected to the MASQ
machine. one of these is my partners win95 machine. I have set up the
gateway and the DNS but am having trouble setting up M$ internet explorer.
In the internet setup I selected LAN and put the 192.168.1.4 (masq machine)
in the proxy setup on port 8080. this doesn't seem to be right. any ideas
