rumour is wrong then, if you're bringing back CD/VCD/DVD/etcs and
the quantity of them is not too much (such that it looks like you're
importing them and trying to avoid paying duties etc) customs
are not interested. Besides which you can't be fined for bringing
a pirated CD/VCD/etc into the country cos it can't be proven that
you knew it to be pirated. If you start importing boxes of them
then it's different but someone coming back from holiday with a few
of them (or a few dozen) is of no interest to customs.
