Hey all,
I'm setting up a Q&D 486 box to play with and I'm having trouble
with the ethernet card...
"ifup eth0" returns (as does the kernel during boot):
Delaying eth0 initialization.
Whilst "modprobe eth0" returns:

This is after compiling a new kernel, however, now it now happens
on the old one too. So I'm assuming there's a problem in the
modules...
The network card is one of those ubiquitous RealTek cheapies (which
has been working great under a number of previous installs), the
current distro is RedHat 6.0, and the sender is stumped. :)
