This is not really close to you, but the only place I've seen Linux Journal
is at the newsagent inside the new Broadway shopping centre,
corner of Parramatta Rd / City Rd (near Syd Uni, Camperdown/Glebe).
They have lots of copies, about 6 wks behind the cover date.
I understand it's also available at Anthony Rumble's shop at Fivedock.
