Edit /etc/nmh/mts.conf (NMH) or perhaps /usr/lib/mh/mts-tailor (MH)
where it says servers and point them to the SMTP server(s) you are
using. Reason is pine and others mail agents normally pipe to sendmail
whereas n/mh opens a network connection to the server.
