After reading the entire article, including grabbing Acrobat so I could read the PDF's I'd have to say the coolest bit is not Mobile Linux. Oh no, that's the tip of the iceberg!! It's more a case of which microprocessor would you like your palm pilot to run ALL DAY today? Sorry, you really want to run that old CP/M application ... no problem, I'll just be a Microbee for a while. Hang on, you wanna play that old LOCO game from the C-64? piece of cake and would you like me to continue that ray tracing using a Power PC at the same time and still run a day on batteries? Hey, it can't do all that yet but if it can't in 2 years time I'll be *VERY* surprised. Another boom for the microcontroller industry is they can probably emulate their microcontrollers at better than real speed before committing to silicon and FARKING cheap! ---<GRiP>--- Grant Parnell [EMAIL PROTECTED] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Ph: 02-9715-6171 Mobile 0408-686-201 Web: http://www.poboxes.com/gripz -- SLUG - Sydney Linux Users Group Mailing List - http://www.slug.org.au To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in the text
