[SLUG] What do public Primary Schools do with computers?

I'm interested, if anyne can tell me, what public primary schools 
actually do with computers?

I've offered to help my wife's school sort out their computers, but it
seems they can not tell me what they want to do with their computers
in the future because they haven't had much experience.

So I'm hoping to get some info in this area to try and speed up the
whole planning process.
