Its just a normal ethernet card and you use DHCP to authenticate and get
an IP address. DO a search on deja in aus.net.access there have been a
few posts there. Such as the one below.

Finally got connected to @home this arvo, yes it does run
under
linux and yes you have to configure the hostname to the customer id the
installer gives you (Cxxxxxxx-x). First tried dhcpcd and pump with the
-h
option, couldn't get either of them to work. So I d/l ics dhcp from
http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP/ , created a dhclient.conf file with
the
line " send host-name "Cxxxxxx-x"" in it amongst other things and bingo
it
worked.
The only thing I need to do now is to get it to run my
firewall
script every time my ip changes.Does anyone knows how to do this with
ics
dhcp ? is there an option to run a script like you can with pump, had a
quick look through the docs but couldn't find anything.

If the box says "Windows 95 or better", it should run on Linux, right?
