Well I got all four ports working in colour *8-)
I had a look in the source for bttv and noticed that there were other
multi port cards, so I had a look at their definition and then just
loaded bttv with the appropriate card settings using the old trial and
error method with 5 possible candidates.
It turns out that the Grandtec 4 port card (also known as the grand
multiguard http://www.grand.com.tw/tunercard/mguard.html) works just
dandy with card=7 (Matrix Vision MV-Delta)
For those of you (like me) who want to use this card for a web cam, The
web cam program supplied in the xawtv tarball can be easily modified to
use any of the four ports by searching for this line "# define
GRAB_SOURCE 1"
GRAB_SOURCE Composite Port
0 1
1 2
2 3
3 SVHS (Will appear B/W)
4 4
