An idea just occurred to me. Anyone keen enough can treat this as a free business plan: Set up a service that gateways the tax office's MS-centric interface through any of several sane interfaces: plain HTML/POST, interactive telnet, whatever. Personally, I'd like to see an SMTP to ATO gateway. If you can snail-mail the form, you ought to be able to e-mail it...
