No way!!!
In the case of the problem I found, my guess is that whomever ported
the code was good at adding in 'codes' to make things happen, but not
good at removing redundant information, nor checking where the actual
code was put. I can not comment on the Win9X versions, but this was
not a problem in the WFWG versions, or DOS versions.
E.G. If I highlight a page and then spec a new tab line for it, it
only needs to appear once. I found it everywhere on one page, even mid
line.
In my experience, Corel has a long history at introducing new bugs at
each new version of their product. Unfortunately, this seems to be a
feature of their linux version of WordPerfect.

Isn't this really a case of over embellishing the documents we send?
Some people just can not help themselves. A book I published once,
using WordPerfect was relaid manually by the cartoonist because he
insisted that type at the bottom of each page should line up. Totally
unneccessary, but form over substance has been around for years.
