During the last couple of days, IBM has been running a course for
Developers on Linux on Netfinity hardware. The pack of brochures has
things like hardwared leased at 1-3% list price/month for development
and demonstration purposes and up to 50% off purchase, first copy of
software at cost +shipping and 50% off subsequent copies, ....

The course had demo machines for RH, Suse, TL and was given on
Caldera, which they received a CD of at the end.

In short, IBM is training software developers to provide commercial
solutions on linux. If you are a software developer, you may want to
look at this further.
