I'm trying to get a Traverse Technologies Netjet ISDN card working,
talking to a BPD Onramp Express service.

At the moment it works (as in it communicates, sort of) and according to
the logs has not hung up during the past 2 days, but every now and then it
plays "dead" for around 10 minutes, then it will come good again.

During the "dead" period the box it is plugged into won't respond to pings
and any ssh session I am running is similarly unresponsive.

Could this be an MTU problem, but if so, why so long before it comes good?

What seems to aggrevate the problem is when I use ssh to do listings such
as "cat" or similar, back from the box to my local session.

Any thoughts?

Howard.
