Registered on net yesterday (Wed) from the links on slug.org.au site,
(goes to infosalons site), arrived today (Thur) at "pre-registered"
counter, no queue, got card printed within 30 secs of giving my name.
Quick easy & free.

BTW park above Motor Museum, entrance off Harris St, and you walk past
monorail station directly into the right section of Darling Hbr,
all for $10 for a few hours.

Worthwhile ? Depends what youre looking for.
Lots of linux stuff, incl Jamie at SLUG, Anthony Rumble at Everythinglinux,
Turbolinux, Caldera, SGI, saw Maddog Hall near SGI stand,
plus heaps of plain old PC & h/w & s/w stuff. The linux part takes maybe
a quarter (?) of entire space (?).
All the usual stuff is there.

Checkout Citrix who now have a linux client for their Metaframe server,
I saw MS-Word running on a server, being delivered via web to a Netscape
browser running on X windows on linux, at least I think thats what I saw.
