You'd be surprised! I've recently modified a site to
automagically generate static pages, instead of serving
the dynamic pages directly. Slashdot does this too -
it's much more efficient. Until we see intelligent
agents and interoperability features in web sites
(standard XML-based queries etc), I think this will be a
popular course... At least you get on the search
engines!

My fridge could certainly do with a web server! Very
true though - khttpd is great for embedded applications
("I want a web server on my mobile too").
