Hi:

I have just set up our intranet and I have a bigpond direct connection
to the outside world, but there are some things missing that I need help
with.

In particular, the delgation of our internet address. Briefly I have the
following (all machines are running SuSE 6.3):

maggie: Basically internet server, with PPP connection via telstra

direct connection, runs squid and sendmail,
        ETH0 has address 192.168.0.1
PPP0 has address given by bigpond

marge: file server, large disk for backups, basically runs NFSD and

SAMBA.
        ETH0, has address 192.168.0.2

        apu, homer,monty,kent: 192.168.0.3/6
                Workstaions

The big question is for maggie and the delegation of our internet name.
Do I need to run named on maggie, and supplly it's IP addres as the
primary name server for delegation, or can I just get away with using
the secondary nameserver on telstra's system ?

Thanks

Erich

PS: The next big challenge is getting IP masquerading up and running.
