I've done this with 3 or 4 different distros at once. Just make sure you
only install Lilo from one of them, and give lilo access to the kernels
of the other distros by either copying them over, or by mounting the
other partitions and making symlinks to the kernels on them. For
example, if I install lilo with Red Hat, and my RH's kernel is
/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.13 and my Debian's kernel is /boot/linux-2.2.13:
1. boot RH
2. mount the debian partition somewhere (say, /mnt/debian)
3. symlink /boot/linux-2.2.13 to /mnt/debian/boot/linux-2.2.13 (this
step is necessary to allow lilo to find the kernel both at install time
and boot time)
4. put the paths /boot/vmlinuz-2.2.13 and /boot/linux-2.2.13 in
lilo.conf (on RH)
5. run lilo
