anything without a domain
eg www
instead of www.blahblahblah.com
your machine has a search order in its network setup which tells it what
to look for if
a whole FQDN is not given.
This file is /etc/resolv.conf for most unixs i have used, windows has it
in the dns tab
i think it gets cut off though =(
