Without any evidence of my system having been compromised, I have noticed
that about a week ago the maillogs appear to have stopped logging the
from= messages out of sendmail.
All seems well until the last entry I can find which shows the size=0 the
pri=0 and does not show the msgid= at all. After that there is no from=
lines at all. The to= lines continue to appear as normal.
The sendmail version is 8.9.3/8.9.3 and I cannot think of anything odd
that happened around that time.
Has anyone ever seen this before. I will restart the sendmail daemon and
see what happens.
