[SLUG] Telstra's ADSL modem is USB only

I've heard a rumour that the new ADSL modem telstra is going to use with
its release of ADSL later this year is going to be USB, not standard
ethernet like cable.

Can anyone confirm this and what's it mean for Linux users who's USB
support isn't 100%????
