I upgraded my kernel on the weekend, and in the process said 'yes' to
those funky Unix98 pty's. I also said yes to the pts filesystem. I
created a mount point /dev/pts and added an appropriate entry to
/etc/fstab. On reboot the kernel reports that 256 Unix98 pty's have been
initialized (or something to that effect), and /proc/mounts indicates
that /dev/pts is mounted. My question is, what do I need to do to get
services like telnet, rlogin etc. to use the Unix98 pty's, i.e. use
/dev/pts/0. /dev/pts/1 rather than the regular/dev/ttyX's.
