Example. I have, as you do, cable and another interface (a tunnel in
this case). The other interface is a point to point link between
216.65.82.3 (my box) and .4. The following lines make replies to
traffic incoming over the tunnel go back out the same way, even though
my default route points out eth0. You need a bunch of Advanced Router
kernel options for this.
ip rule add from 216.65.82.3 table 2
ip route add default via 216.65.82.4 dev maxim table 2
