Depends what you want.
When you say "you tried using the setup disk to 10 Mb mode", what do you
mean? Wasn't there an option, or you tried it and it made no difference?
What you really need to do is set a standard - ewither all 10 Mb/s cards,
and a suitable hub, or all 100 Mb/s cards, and a similar suitable
hub/switch.
Mixed environments often result in headaches.
