I read that the opposite way to you. 
PNP OS Installed? NO: to me means the OS doesn't know
about PnP so the bios will do the PnP setup.

PNP OS Installed? YES: to me means the OS does know
about PnP, so the bios won't do any PnP setups
 
You want linux to do the PnP setup, so answer YES and
see what happens.
