Put's on rubber gloves and loads outlook express and has a look..
(yeah ok so I'm using Eudora which is still windows but it still isn't
Outlook :) )
Go to tools, options, send
there is the send as plain text option and it sorta does the trick
u get the following :
[The following text is in the "iso-8859-1" character set]
[Your display is set for the "US-ASCII" character set]
[Some characters may be displayed incorrectly]
test message with no html coding
at least it's not full of html tags.
