It's actually even simpler than that: I'm arguing from the perspective that the
world would be a better place without the O****** virus.

When the press (or rather, if ever the press, given that we have been so
low-key) ask us what damage we suffered, we could tell them, um well, our Linux
server was flooded with email from the love bug, or we can tell them, if people
used responsible software such as (name your favourite non-M$ software here), we
wouldn't be in such a mess. Then we can add, and we have to tools to help limit
the spread, pulling out our favourite text editor.
