Thanks George

My brain finally kicked in and I went to http://www.linux.org.au/LDP,
which reminded me of /usr/doc/HOWTO/Hardware*, which was what I was
after.

Basically, I have to put together a couple of lots of BNC network
cards from my surplus hardware list (http://www.woa.com.au/surplus -
yep, this is finally happening and if you replied before, you email
should arrive soon) for a couple of students who wanted to establish a
home network and have it run linux.

I just wanted to make sure that the cards I offered ran unix,
preferrably with an easy an install as possbile.

Has anyone actually used the Racal Interlan cards listed under 12.2
alpha/beta drivers?

thanks folks.
