Does anyone know how to authenticate with the Telstra Big Pond cable servers under linux? (ie. send the user name and password they give you which otherwise requires win 98 software). Authentication is not required for the DHCP link, but nothing can be downloaded from the internet without it. I have RH linux 6.2 which gets the Ip address from the DHCP server as well as DNS and search domains.
