the host name for 'your' news server depends probably on the specific
optus network/segment you are on.. try catenating 'news' with your
specific segment/fqdn, ie

news.myregion.nsw.optushome.com.au

for somebody out west it would be news.blktn1.nsw.optushome.com.au for
blacktown..
