Jeff, wonderfull stuff.
I just love stats.
I especially love ones which can be manipulated easily.
For example I would normally make all of this one paragapgh.
But why bother when I can increase my original lines.
So general questions, just out of interest, not really any cretique or
anything.
1. Did you use Perl? Extra points for integrating "cut" <grin>!
2. Does it count blank lines? Should it count words instead of lines.
3. Does it stop counting once it hits a signature. Although this might not
be good because if you put the entire previous message at the bottom
and put your reply and sig at the top you would not count all those
lines at the bottom.
4. Looks like I have to change my quote string from ">" to something else!
5. Maybe I should increase my .sig.
It would be great if we could cut the noise down and trim those quotes in
replies. However this really seams to be a thing of personal preference.
