Why 50 pin? Most external connectors these days are 68 pin. What kind of
devices are you wanting to connect?

If you can find a dealer {good luck! I went straight to the distributor!},
then the Advansys ones are great. I bought the Ultra wide version for my
Linux box for about $220 - when the equivalent Adaptec card was retailing
OEM for $480. And it didn't need a kernel recompile {from the default RH
kernel} to work.
