benefits of VMware  TCP/IP network adapter created in software
(when you install windows it comes up with "Hardware detected network
card" dialog box
also no kernal hack needed :) and that is really cool as I run a special
kernal for my ABit motherboard and don't want to hack a kernal just
to use a VM
