but there might be an option in the bios settings (or
similar) to disable it. There usually is for other
onboard things like ethernet, sound etc.
Even though the monitor/video is all "integrated", cos it's
based on standard PC parts (unlike iMacs) you still might
be able to "bypass" it. Might be worth a look (or fiddle) anyway.
