The copper who handled the whole thing (he was excellent) bought that up as
well. At the time it didn't seem to be so bad but yeah, it could have been
worse. I wasn't really frightened at the time, but it took an immense amount
of self control not to beat the kid sensless because I was preety peed off,
and the kid kept asking me to hit him so that he could make a claim against me.
The funny thing is that the policeman said to me if you ask someone to hit you,
it's very hard to get anywhere in court, because you invited the incident. As
it happened, his mate was watching from behind some bushes so I would have been
in a lot of strife if I had taken my frustration out on the kid.
