<clears throat>
First off let me say I hate rpm and would usually prefer to
install a .tar.gz (eg. like the netscape install method).
I know solaris pkgs are scoffed at by people who want all
the amazingly fancy stuff packaging systems like .deb do,
but I like the solaris method.
I will shortly be trying out the debian way but what I know
of it so far seems good.
Dave.
