Hey there,
Even though Matt is my kind and good-natured email host, I have to disagree
with using IMP. It's really a big chunk of bloat, and you can't use it from
lynx.
You may want to have a look at TWIG (look it up on freshy), which, in
addition to email via IMAP, can give you a calendar, todo list, contacts,
the works. Any and all sections can be removed, so you can just use it for
mail if you want.
The great thing is that it's presentable *and* minimal, so it doesn't use
multiple windows, frames, javascript, or any of that other polava.
There's a demo on the site too.
