Dont go with optus for cable internet, as they are having problems at the
moment with there service and will put you off up to a month as they work
out these `issues', i was due for installation on tuesday, but got moved
to late next month. Now i'm joining bigpond on the ADSL trial :)

Also bigpond cable or ADSL works easily under linux.
