Huh?

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough.  The Athlon _works_.  It works
great.  Right now, it's running a kernel optimised for a 386, but I have no
doubts at all that it'd go just fine on a 586- or 686- kernel.  And
apparently it'll do it a fair bit better than what Intel are offering for
the same price.

If there was a point to be made, it's that you should read _lots_, every
little piece of documentation your distribution can offer you.  Especially
if you're not 100% familiar with the hardware you're installing onto.
And, if you're considering installing Red Hat, slap yourself, and go buy a
Slackware CD ;-)
