-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jan Kasprzak Sent: Monday, 7 August 2000 10:05 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: ssh-1.2.30 RPMs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hello all, I have created RPMs of the new SSH release - 1.2.30. Changelog since 1.2.27-7i is as follows: - ------------------------------------------------------------------ * Tue Jul 11 2000 Jan "Yenya" Kasprzak <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - - Updated to 1.2.30. - - Moved to Applications/Cryptography group. - - Added pam_limits.so to ssh.pam as suggested by Dries Verachtert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. - ------------------------------------------------------------------ There are ssh-1.2.30-1i and -1us RPMs - source, i386 and sparc ones. It has been tested on Red Hat Linux 6.2, but it should work on older systems as well (possibly after rebuild). I hope I'll find time for packaging SSH 1.2.30 for the new directory layout in Red Hat 7.0 as well. It will also include Andrew Morgan's new ssh-pam patch. BEWARE! All packages are GPG-signed with my key <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Be sure to check the signature. Few months ago there has been ssh-1.2.27-8i RPMs floating around the Net, which had my name both in the Vendor and Packager fields, but which was NOT built by me. Curiously enough these packages contained a remote-root security hole. Thanks to people who pointed me at this, namely Alex de Joode. RPMs are available at {http,ftp}://ftp.fi.muni.cz/pub/ssh/local-fi.muni.cz/linux/ and will be soon at ftp.zedz.net and its mirrors. - -Yenya -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iQCVAwUBOY6lyFC2u4XTSYg5AQE3MAQAqTPpU1eimGg/JDKSYbp4C/RM/BihSbXd ceh+WFzlH17kVrNBzD28LUYgum62RC1TVW22qct3uqpp/jWYjyLAASnb4L5ETxn8 NLcq7SDv8ZICMiseHBTzPi6UuR9hOsNYBmKBaE69fH07As3tOCydQmEDB1iMux82 CQPakWPD9ng= =aUc7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- \ Jan "Yenya" Kasprzak <kas at fi.muni.cz> http://www.fi.muni.cz/~kas/ \\ PGP: finger kas at aisa.fi.muni.cz 0D99A7FB206605D7 8B35FCDE05B18A5E // \\\ Czech Linux Homepage: http://www.linux.cz/ /// // In fact floppies are great for many things - the cheapest easy to test \\ / raid hot swap device on the planet ... 8) -- Alan Cox \ _______________________________________________ Redhat-announce-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-announce-list -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://slug.org.au/lists/listinfo/slug
