This is a somewhat ingenuous claim.
(You were advocating ADSL in preference to cable, the fact that you
_may_ get worse service on cable (much as for ADSL, unless you wish to
make the still more ingenuous claim that ADSL is at least as good as
cable in all possible cases) is not reason enough to do so. Your
argument, therefore, was somewhat broader, even if you never stated it
all in one place, or even if you failed to realise this yourself.)
Nonetheless, I note that you have apparently elected to withdraw from
the discussion without answering a number of questions that your
comments inspired. I hope that in future discussions you will bear in
mind your ability both to teach others, and to learn from them.
Defiantly sticking to a position when contrary facts (as distinct from
opinions) are presented, and alluding to what you believe are facts
(rather than stating them), inhibits your ability to do either, while
adding little to the discussion.
