There is/was a sendmail port for NT called Vintra mail. Priced a $US250
per site (unlimited users), I used to use it on NT for around 200 plus
users, for over 2 years. It worked really well. Once installed the only
thing required to create a mail account was:
1. the creation of a home dir for the user.
2. this home dir added to the local path in the profile.
