I am thinking of starting to use Gnucash for my small business. Up to now
I have managed to survive with spreadsheets but with the GST its getting a
little complex. There are less than 100 transactions per month and my
accountant does most of the complex stuff.
Anyone had any difficulties with Gnucash, do you like it?
I plan on running it in double entry mode as well as the split
transactions feature to handle GST.
Any other alternatives out there? I don't mind paying money but I really
want it to run on Linux, have source available and have existing or
builable methods for simple import/export.
I read Terry's reviews at
http://www.woa.com.au/linux/lists/bookkeeping.html but even though Gnucash
did not get a good review it looked better than the other ones listed.
