actually `not behaving at all' might have been more accurate.

I desperately need to use `at'. I've got woody happening here.
If for instance I need to switch off the ppp connection half an hour after
I leave work, I think I should be able to do

        debian:~# at now + 30 minutes poff

When I try, however, `at' just wants to tell me that I'm not on
UTC. (Both the hardware and the system clock are on local time).

eg:

        debian:~#m at now + 30 minutes poff
        parse error. Last token seen: poff
        Garbled time

or

        debian:~# at 21:55 man at
        Only UTC timezone is supported. Last token seen: man
        Garbled time

I've googled stuff on clocks. Can't find anything specific to my
problem. So I'm appealing to the ultimate group for a pointer.
