Good question. Inprise/Borland announced a few months back that the
release is scheduled for sometime in the third quarter this year. Well
since we are in third quarter, I like to think it will happen sometime
soon. RAD tools for Linux has been hailed as the driving force it needs to

Which also mentions that a Kylix Beta Program would be open to the public
in July 2000.

I met someone from Holworth Communications (Inprise/Borland's PR company)
at the launch of the Industry Standard (thestandard.com.au) earlier this
year and we were discussing the Kylix project. I sure hope he let's me
know as soon as they are released...:-)
