This is your opportunity to be involved in the development of Computer Systems and large scale LAN Design for the planning and engineering of Internet, IP Products and services solutions. This is a key engineering role in the design and development of Internet facing systems, using leading edge technology. The primary focus will be to plan, design and build computer systems as the platforms to support IP products, implement secure technology to support Internet services and facilities and assess new products and services in the software and systems platform area. Our client are looking for experienced professionals who have a Degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science, experience in systems engineering, operating systems, application design in an Internet environment with an excellent understanding of Internet platforms. You will be a competent programmer particularly in Perl and other scripting languages, and have experience with the installation and design of network management systems (HP OpenView, Cisco Works etc), UNIX and NT Operating Systems, Sun hardware and software systems and various Intel platforms together together with network technologies (Cisco, Nortel etc) and the various IP and other network protocols.
