a lot of people on mailing lists and news groups tend to spend a lot of
time replying with 'rtfm' with pointers to how-to's and stuff found with a
google search...
maybe a helpful path for people to find answers ie. search the how-to's,
LDP, search engines (google's linux search), usenet archives (deja),
mailing list archives and then if all else fails posting to usenet,
mailing lists...
also places on the system to find out helpful info for
troubleshooting (log/dmesg, log/messages)
maybe that would fit into a bit of a discussion of the way the linux
community behaves... ie. you help others out as much as you can because
you never know when you might need to call on some assistance...
