Hi all,

As usual, I stopped the BIND service and started it again for the 3rd time
and now it works... weird... better get version 8 binaries I guess...

Subject: [SLUG] Badly OT but need advice - Windows NT Bind..

Hi all,

Sorry for sending this here but I haven't had much luck on the ISC home page
or even Google for what I'm looking for and hopefully someone may know or
had this problem before.

My NT server which is running BIND 4.9.7 is not reporting the changes to our
New Zealand offices domain.

They have changes provider and the new IP is not resolving properly on our 2
NT servers which both have the same old DNS entries. Why it hasn't updated
yet I have no idea and testing using a nslookup on another DNS server
outside works fine.

I was wondering if there is someway where I can clear the cache so it forces
it to look up again. Any help on this OT is greatly appreciated...

thanks,
George Vieira
