Hi All,
Actually Hi to the Debian folks as thats who might be able
to answer my query.
At: http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/ at the bottom of
the page is found...
Alpha and SPARC CD Issues
CDs for Alpha and SPARC for 2.2 initially had some problems
not being bootable.
Be sure if you buy CDs that you request those labelled
``2.2rev0a'' or better.
I have been looking regularly at the Aarnet site
(http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/debian/dists/Debian2.2r0/main/binary-alpha/Release)
to see if the alpha binaries get updated. The release so far
has not changed from:
Archive: stable
Component: main
Version: 2.2
Origin: Debian
Architecture: alpha
How do I tell rev number of the 2.2 dist?
Will the directory name be changed to 2.2rev0a sometime or
what?
Mike
