Hi Guys, I need to make the normal dialup from RedHat ask for the PAP password right before you enter it. I know that the passwords are kept in /etc/ppp/pap-secrets and i tried to modify that file before running ifup ppp3 but the time between writing the password to the file and the modem actually authenticating is too long, i only have like 20 seconds. Anyone have any ideas ?
